he Taverne Royale, opened in 1952, is a family brasserie that has maintained its tradition of quality. In a handsome room decorated in the style of an English pub are served some excellent mussels, Welsh rarebits and seafood. Also, a wide range of draft beers and a fine wine list.

According to a net surfer: "We chose this restaurant by chance and we did not regret it. Perfectly priced menu at 17 €, including dessert. Excellent wines. One of the best value for money in Le Touquet. It is advisable to book in advance."

Choice of three menus: the first at 17 € (starter, a main dish and a cheese or dessert), the Across the Channel menu at 24 € and the Le Royal menu at 33 €.
